Kasauli's ridgeline paths are close by, if you want them. Most guests take one short walk and then leave it at that.

A Quiet Dinner, an Early Night
Dinner is simple and unhurried. After that, the house goes quiet — genuinely quiet, not just marketed that way.

Cooked to Order, Served When Ready
Meals are simple and made fresh — a short, seasonal set rather than a long menu. Nothing is plated for a photograph; it's plated to be eaten while it's still hot.
Tell us in advance if you're vegetarian or avoiding something specific. It's a small kitchen, and a little notice goes a long way.

Spring
Clear air and mild days. The pines are at their best, and the town is uncrowded.
June – Mid-September
Monsoon
Kasauli turns genuinely green, with heavy rain and low cloud most days. Beautiful from indoors — the roads can be slow, so build in extra travel time.
Late September – November
Autumn
The clearest skies of the year, with long views to the plains. Our own favourite stretch.
December – February
Winter
Cold and still, with occasional light snow. Fires are lit every evening — ask us about road conditions before you set out.

Nearest petrol pump is in Solan, about 35 minutes away — worth topping up before you arrive.
ATM
A cash machine on Mall Road, a short walk away; more options in Solan.
Nearest Hospital
A civil hospital in Kasauli town, about 10 minutes away; a larger facility is in Solan.
What to Pack
- A warm layer, even in summer — evenings cool quickly
- Comfortable walking shoes for the ridgeline paths
- A light rain shell, if travelling June through September
- Any regular medication — the nearest pharmacy is in town
- A torch or phone light for the walk back after dinner
- Some cash — Solan has the fuller range of ATMs
