Chai comes out with whatever fruit is ripe that week, straight off the tree. Most mornings the orchard is still in mist when you sit down with the first cup.
Work
Whatever the Orchard Needs That Day
Weeding, watering, thinning fruit, or picking — the work changes by the week. Guests are welcome to join in, or just watch from the shade.
Meals
Picked That Morning, Cooked by Noon
Lunch is cooked with what was pulled from the garden a few hours earlier. There's no printed menu — the harvest decides.
Evening
An Early Night, Lit by Woodsmoke
Dinner from the garden, then a quiet night — there isn't much to do after dark on a working farm, and most guests are glad of it.

The Kitchen Follows the Garden, Not the Other Way Around
Meals here start in the ground, not the fridge. Vegetables come from the kitchen garden that morning; apples, apricots and walnuts come from the orchard, depending on the month.
It means the menu changes with the season and the weather — we'll tell you what's ripe when you ask, not before.

Our busiest, most hands-on season — guests often help with the picking if they ask.

Quiet Winter
The trees rest, walnuts are stored, and the wood fire stays lit. Ask about road conditions before you set out.

Nearest petrol pump is in Narkanda, about 35 minutes away — worth topping up before you arrive.

Nearest ATM is in Narkanda — we'd suggest carrying some cash for the farm.
